RJ Entertainment Publishing is a community-based publisher that produces several community newspapers, magazines and specialty publications in Mississauga and Etobicoke. Founded in 1993, RJ Entertainment Publishing’s current roster of publications includes six local community newspapers, community business directories and award-winning event programs.
RJ Entertainment Publishing is a leader in community-oriented content for small to medium business and local residents in several established communities. The group of community newspapers includes the Streetsville Village Times, Port Credit Village Times, Clarkson’s Corners, Lakeshore Villages and Village of Islington Times. Working with local Business Improvement Association’s (BIA’s), the publications focus on informing local residents with information on upcoming and established businesses, event notices and community initiatives that positively impact the local area.
RJ Entertainment Publishing has provided effective and affordable advertising options for their clients for over twenty years. By networking with local shopkeepers and services, our publications provide an effective outlet for promoting the brands, products and services of local businesses to a wide audience. The magazines, newspapers and specialty publications are delivered to homes, businesses and community facilities by Canada Post, and reach a circulation of over 100,000 residents across Mississauga and Etobicoke.
Current publications also include several community business local shopping directories that are developed and maintained with the assistance of local BIA’s, and are distributed yearly to businesses and homes. Currently, RJ Entertainment Publishing publishes directories for Streetsville, Clarkson, Port Credit, The Lakeshore Villages (Long Branch, Lakeshore Village, Mimico, Mimico-by-the-Lake) and The Kingsway.
RJ Entertainment Publishing also includes high-quality programs for several local events and festivals. Including for the last nine years, the Tim Hortons Southside Shuffle Official Festival Program, which won Festivals & Events Ontario Award for Best Official Printed Program. The annual program is compiled and distributed during the Southside Shuffle Festival, which is held every September in south Mississauga.
